CARISMAND project’s coordination and management has been implemented for more than 18 months by the University of Groningen, the Netherlands.
As a project coordinator, the team of the University of Groningen is responsible for the overall management and administration of CARISMAND project, making sure that all tasks are being fulfilled according to plan and project outputs are at the necessary quality level.
Although having a complex work flow involving 19 project partners from 11 countries and 12 Work Packages, CARISMAND project has been successfully meeting the consortium’s expectations for already year and a half. Constant engagement in internal communication, strict deadline following, and sufficient support provided to project partners have been key aspects of the coordinating team’s work.
They have been also dedicated to the organisation and leading of the Steering Committee Meetings organised throughout the project lifetime with the purpose to gather project partners for discussions on the progress of each Work Package and any issues deriving from the WPs implementation. The last Steering Committee Meeting was held in Malta on 26-27 October 2016 and saw the participation of more than 35 project members. The University of Groningen is now preparing for the upcoming partner meeting on 6 and 7 June 2017 in Brussels.
