2017, November, Third Toolkit Workshop Top

The CARISMAND Project partners gathered in Sofia for the third workshop on the development of the key outcomes of the project: CARISMAND Toolkit and CARISMAND Cultural Map, which will benefit experts from all levels, as well as people interested in improving disaster management, through a deep understanding of cultural differences.
28 representatives of partner organizations, part of CARISMAND, gathered in Sofia, Bulgaria, to discuss the next stages of the development of the project, as well as the structure and content of the two instruments. The Toolkit and the Cultural Map are valuable auxiliary sources that are being developed within the CARISMAND project and will be published at the end of the project period. They will help raise public awareness, promote good practice based on knowledge of local cultural specificities, and encourage citizens to discover their individual strengths and the strengths of their community in disaster preparedness, disaster response and subsequent recovery.
2017, May, Second Toolkit Workshop Top
15-16 May 2017
On 15th and 16th May 2017 CARISMAND partners joined for a Second Toolkit Workshop which was held in Vienna.
The Workshop consisted of a series of brainstorming sessions and was attended by 15 team members who contributed for the advance of the Toolkit development by sharing most recent research results, observations, and recommendations.
2017, January, First Toolkit Workshop Top
23-24 January 2017
On 23th and 24th of January 2017 the CARISMAND project held its first Toolkit Workshop in Rome, Italy.
A dedicated group of experts within the CARISMAND project gathered together to brainstorm on how to better implement the project results and knowledge gained up to this point into the development of the Toolkit and Cultural Map.
Partners discussed the structure of the two products, the terminology and topics to be considered, the relation between the Toolkit and existing policies, guidelines, industry standards, roadmaps, etc., as well as related questions which have derived during the CARISMAND project implementation.
Host of the event was the CNR-IRPPS.
